Global Village Noosa has been located in Noosa Junction for almost 15 years. Over this time GV Noosa has developed a reputation for being one of Australia's premier providers of English Language tuition, culminating this year in a nomination as the leading Southern Hemisphere language school in the prestigious Language Star Awards. GV Noosa welcomes over 1500 students a year from Europe, Asia, South America and Oceania.
With between 150 and 400 students accommodated at any time in the local community, GV Noosa welcomes enquiries from local families seeking to offer homestay accommodation. Enquiries can be directed to the Homestay Office at homestay@gvnoosa.com.
In 2008, Global Village commenced courses for local students, with evening French classes and a Certificate IV TESOL course for aspiring teachers of English. Courses in both French and TESOL are held regularly, with start dates every three months. Please contact the school for more information on either of the programs.
French
French classes at GV Noosa are offered in the evenings by Catherine Cornolier, who has extensive French language teaching experience in both Australia and Japan. There are classes available for all ability levels, with programs focussed on Conversational French and French for Travel.
TESOL
GV Noosa, in conjunction with LTI, offers the Certificate IV in TESOL program. This course is designed to meet the requirements for work as an English teacher in Australia or abroad. Graduates of previous programs have found employment on the Sunshine Coast, in Brisbane and in countries all over the world.
